Ironman5000
I am working on a daedric mod with new cells, enemies, weapons etc. I've got 2 set up using resources but i'm having a few bugs which i'm looking into but I thought maybe I could get help here. One is the Daedric Crescenthttp://i1135.photobucket.com/albums/m631/wastelandscourge/ScreenShot643.jpg found here and the other uses one of Werne's weapon models, the warglaivehttp://i1135.photobucket.com/albums/m631/wastelandscourge/ScreenShot631.jpg found (he provided a download link) here They look fine in the daylight but in dark areas they look really dark and don't seem to reflect light. It might be something to do with using glow maps, which they both do but for them to work I need to use the 3rd textureset slot which i've noticed is used for _sk map files whatever that is  (environment map?) http://i1135.photobucket.com/albums/m631/wastelandscourge/ScreenShot646.jpghttp://i1135.photobucket.com/albums/m631/wastelandscourge/ScreenShot626.jpg You can see how unnaturally dark they look, and maybe it's a simple solution but I don't know it yet because i've not had this issue yet  (Oh and I know the daedric warglaive glow is too intense, i've not had much time to fix it yet). That's one problem, the other is the holstering. http://i1135.photobucket.com/albums/m631/wastelandscourge/ScreenShot640.jpghttp://i1135.photobucket.com/albums/m631/wastelandscourge/ScreenShot639.jpg I would appreciate some advice on how to position holstered weapons, if it can be done without a considerable amount of animation tampering. Maybe some node tweaking? There is a slight problem with clipping with the glaive but it's not a major deal, it happens to the best of us and I don't want to mess with positioning too much. It's only really noticable with the weapon drawn and standing idle. http://i1135.photobucket.com/albums/m631/wastelandscourge/ScreenShot629.jpg You will have to excuse the basic texturing work, they will look better in time. I can upload the files if anyone with skill would like to look at them and lend a hand.
