NMM Access to file is denied. please help.

Hi guys

really new here but it seems you are my only hope.
I am sorry if i have posted this in the wrong place but I am struggling to figure this out.
after googling for hours and hours I can't seems to have any luck installing Armor mods.

There is a Type 6 armor replacement Mod that i am trying to install. It installs all the way to 75% but then I get an error message.
I have included a picture of the error with this post.
I can Install any other mod without issues except for Armour mods that replace armors.
I have New Vegas Script Extender installed and working as well as New Vegas Anti-Crash.

I've tried all the common problems I've seen online such as allowing NMM to run in administrator mode and turning off anti virus file scanning

during the Install Process. My files for the My Games>FalloutNV>Fallout.ini has read only turned off.
When I go to the file the cannot be accessed and try to change it off of read only mode It will not allow me.

I am not sure what to do

again. sorry if i haven't posted this properly but I am at my wits end.

I have tried that and it doesn't seem to have done anything. i still get the error message when checking the installer

Okay go to the FONV steam install folder and right click the folder

Go to properties

Uncheck Read only

Im assuming you mean the one in my steamapps folder?

I tried to take it off of read only but it will not allow me even as administrator
