Changing animation sounds

I was messing around with making brooms, body parts, etc.. into weapons, and was wondering how do I apply a sound to just that particular weapon, instead of the metal sounds you normally hear.

It's controled by the type of weapon it is. Blunt weapons sound less metalic. Changing the material properties of the item inside the nif doesn't seem to change anything much. The wooden club weapon still sounds about the same as a iron warhammer.

 

If you can change the sounds, it would change for every weapon of that type.

well that's just weird, In that case what would be involved in making a new weapons folder?

Not much, and wouldn't change anything. By type of weapon I mean Bladed verses Blunt. I guess I should have been more clear.
