Pancake1001
I've recently found about the MGSV modding community, and I really wanted to create my own mod, but it is proving rather difficult. I've watched Morbidslinky's mod on texturing and I followed all the same steps as him, but when I went to test the mod in game I found that the texture didn't seem to apply unless I was looking directly at Snake's crotch. If anyone could help explain to me how to fix this or why it is happening it would be much appreciated. I'll link my texture files in a google drive. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B53jb713zUGtbG44bzFnaFh2QUk?usp=sharing
Aaoms
If the modded texture is fading in and out in-game, it's likely that some .ftexs files weren't properly packed into the modded files. Did you create a SnakeBite file for this texture mod, or were you trying to install it manually?
Pancake1001
Yes, they were fading in and out and I had tried both as a snakebite and manually and had the same issue both times.
morbidslinky
Sorry to hear about your texture issues. My tutorial is somewhat outdated and I need to revise some things about it. I'll try to get a new tutorial out by the end of the weekend, as I've been meaning to do it for a while now.
Pancake1001
I'll be looking forward to watching your new video then. :)
morbidslinky
Heyo, just a quick update. I'm still working on the tutorial, but it's not quite finished yet. I'm not very good at video tutorials, so it's taking more time than I'd hoped. Hopefully I'll have it done soon.
