Risakisa
From the ToS: Through your use of Nexus Mods you agree that you will not post any content which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, threatening, related to piracy, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of UK law. Know that in severe cases legal action can be taken against you. Any files that contain sexual images or reference of sexual acts with minors (people under the age of 18 or people who look under the age of 18) and animals, incite racial or religious hatred or are generally designed to spark a negative reaction in certain demographics beyond what is accepted within the UK/US media will be removed and accounts banned. To further clarify: what would be acceptable within the film and video game industry in the UK/US is generally acceptable on Nexus sites, however there may be exceptions, taking into account the multi-cultural character of the modding scene, as long as such exceptions are within legally permissible boundaries.Insure that any content that would typically be awarded a 15 certificate or higher in the US/UK film and video game industry is properly labelled with the Adult-only option when uploading files and images. Continued failure to adhere to this rule will result in your account being banned. I was thinking about making a renaming mod for FO4 that renamed various things, characters, monsters. etc. into stupid and offensive things, including slurs and vulgarity (ie renaming Tinker Tom "Uncle Tom", renaming dogs "Aggressive [Female Dog]", and other words which I shan't repeat on the forums). I'm not sure if simply having "bad words" in-game, especially an 18+ game, is forbidden. I personally find that sort of immature humor to be funny (Louis CK's "Quit being a f- and suck that d-!" like is one of my favourites), but I know that some people think that merely by writing/speaking certain words, regardless of intent or context, is a big no-no. So, to the mods: Would it be against the ToS to upload a mod that renames things into something immature/"offensive", even if it is explicitly stated that the mod was exactly that and nothing but that? (Addendum: Ironically enough, this post may violate the ToS since it can be said that I bypassed the word filter. But given the context of this post, and the use of those words, I deem it justifiable.) Edited September 22, 2017 by Risakisa
SirSalami
Excessive profanity must be properly marked as containing adult content before being published. Also, as you alluded to, the intents of your mod should be made clear in your description as well. That said, profanity and racist remarks are not equivalent. Know that content you submit may be reviewed and if it is determined to be bigoted or racist, it may be removed and may negatively affect your account's good standing. It would be in your best interests to avoid remarks that could be construed as contextually racist. Feel free to PM me if you'd like to discuss any specifics, thanks. Risakisa
Cheers. Sent a PM. -According to the PM thingy, SirSalami has yet to even see the reply. I might go ahead and make the mod, and if no admin has any objection, I'll upload it in a week or two. Provided I don't give up.
