Animation mods aren't working

I'm very new to fallout 4 mods; new as'n like been researching them for a couple days now. All i'm using at the moment are some body mesh/texture replacers and water graphic mods. Those are working, but I'm trying to use this "https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21914", but it's not showing up. Do I need to start a new game or something? Everything looks fine in nexus mod manager and the files are in the game directory. There anything i'm missing?

Most mods need other things in order for them to work. I think this needs F4SE in order to work.

Download and use F4SE http://f4se.silverlock.org/ . Here is how-

. Then launch the game through the F4SE exe.

 

When you download a mod to use, always check it's requirements. For some reason the mod author did not list requirements.

Thanks, although do you know which version of F4SE works with Fallout 4 1.10.20?

Nevermind, I got the right version and I launched it with F4SE, but I still have the vanilla animations.

I wish I could help you more but my game is a mess right now. Sorry. Maybe post your problem on the mod page and see if someone there knows something.

Whelp. I figured out the problem. It turns out that I'm such a noob that I don't know how to get out of combat stance so I wasn't seeing the changes.
