an interesting hypothetical kaijin2k18.

to answer your question -

yes with an iff.

you can create a partition or other account, on your computer,

and in that partition or virtual install, say on a detachable harddrive or drive in a caddie,

run a separate again. You can learn how to do such from 8bitguy, thisweekintech, or from the old-rim boards here at Nexus.

I recommend doing it that way, or using a whole separate computer,

rather than running both on the same partition -

it will make troubleshooting and compatibility much simpler in the long run.

you can keep each version 'clean' -

and, if you run oldrim in offline mode, you can ensure it won't have some live-enabled issues in the near future hehe.

this will enable you to run Oldrim, SkyrimSE, GotYRim, SkyrimVR etc,

all separately.

if you have multiple region variants - you can region-encode the partitions to play that region-game,

ie say you want a transliteration mod, you can run those on that language-partition etc.

some of the headaches which have appeared at LAN club... there are some shockers out there hehe.

I hope this gives you some ideas, and is of some use for you.

hopefully you'll be up and modding in no-time!
