Quit Game-freeze (editing NVSR doesn't work)

I recently started using mods for this game. Never was much of a mod user, but I was astounded by the enormous variety that existed, so hey - let's give it a shot! Ran into a few problems, most of which I could solve by reading readmes and topics/comments. Right now I'm kind of stuck with this one however.

When I try to shut down the game, it freezes, and needs at least a complete log-off to return quit the game.

I've read in topics and the troubleshooting guide that this is a common problem when using mods, and the general solution is: Open sr_New_Vegas_Stutter_remover and change the line bFastExit = 0 to bFastExit = 1

However, it was already set to 1 when I found it.

Other advice was to use the console command qqq although the game then still freezes when trying to quit.

Any advice? I'm kind of new at this, so please try to forgive any rookie mistakes you might spot.

I'm surprised that the game even starts. You load list is a mess. FalloutNV.esm must always be first in the load order, followed by the DLCs, in order of release. After the DLCs should be the preorder packs.

It appears that you have nine unused plugins. You should delete them. If the file is in the Data folder, it will be loaded into memory and could cause problems.

You need NVAC. Please see the 'Vanilla "Load Order"', 'Towards Game Stability', 'Third Rule: The Rule of One', 'Smaller Plugin Cap', and 'Merge Patch file' sections of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article, at a minimum. As this is your first attempt at modding FNV, really suggest you read the entire article. There are a lot of things you won't get from mod instructions that they assume you already know. That article attempts to fill in those gaps in your knowledge.
