Cannot get Piper nude

Ok. I have CBBE and several other Mods but, cannot Take Pipers clothes from her??? (For immersion sake obviously....Ahem) I have the nude Piper & Cait Mod, no obvious effect. I have forged "One ring to nude them all"....nothing? Any help would be appreciated. All other npc's I can take their outfits off. Just not companions or settlers. Odd.

you can't normally access the outfits of companions

this has been so for quite a few games

 

the first mod you've mentioned just changes skin textures , rather than giving you an option to get the companions naked

as for the ring , have you given the ring to piper , and had her wear it? as far as I know , that is how this works

 

not sure of any mod that allows you to access the clothing of companions

if you have a mod which allows you to make a naked outfit , you can just give it to Piper and force her to wear it , leaving her basically naked

I assume you are using Armorsmith Extended. Cause if you don't use any slot-removing mods, you can just equip Piper (or some other settler or companion) with a piece of armor, remove all clothes from her inventory, then take the armor back (cause armor is not locked and it's visible in the trade menu).

 

Edit: If you are using AE, try installing any standalone clothing mod that does use some armor slots.

You could just open the console, select Piper, type "inv" and her inventory should show up. then you can use "unequip xxxxxxxxx" where xxxxxxxx is the item number, for her clothes. but leave one piece of her original clothing on or she will be fully dressed again

For others looking this up in the future, it ridiculously simple. In her trade menu, while she's wearing her original outfit, give her an armour chestpiece and equip it to her ('T' on PC.) Her base outfit isn't compatible with body armour. Once her base outfit comes off, take it away from her, then take away the armour (which doesn't disappear from the list like clothes do.) If you've already taken it by giving her a different outfit, put it back on her and follow these steps, or use a different outfit that gets kicked off when armour is applied. Too many complex or vague "solutions" when it's really so simple.

Side note: Whatever you do, DON'T LET GO OF HER RED COAT OUTFIT! Sometimes she glitches and her hands disappear. Reequipping her base outfit will restore her.
