BountyBam
Today sees the release of the Creation Kit's "Survival Mode".. however, will updating SkyrimSE to v1.5.3.0.8 break any current mods from the nexus? The Survival Mode is something I'd like to try, but not at the cost of all my mods </
WastelandAssassin
getting the CC content won't break anything you usethe update itself might break SKSE64 , and it has been reported that some mods are currently broken , meaning that some people can't currently play the gamecheck the mods you use , see if people have reported broken games after the update , to see if you have anything to worry abouthope this answers your question :)
BountyBam
Awesome, thanks :)My mod list right now is fairly big (about 197 .esps inc. patches) and I'm currently using SKSE64 and SkyUI5.1 for SE without any problems (except MO2 almost exploding when I quit game, but apparently that's "normal" with having an SKSE shortcut there). I think I'll let it be for a while and keep a close eye on any bug reports before i take the plunge to allow that update! Thanks again :)
BlueGunk
Hi BountyBam. Are you running SKSE Launcher.exe as Administrator? I had all those issues with MO2 and SKSE 64 but setting the launcher as Admin resolved them. On a wider note, I usually play off-line and don't bother signing into Steam or Bethesda. This morning I did log into Steam and my Skyrim.exe updated to the 1.5, as intended. Since then I have gone back to playing off-line and have not noticed any difference to my game.I have no new crashes, $ symbols, Creation Club splash note, Some folks have commented the base game ESMs have been updated but this did not happen to me. So I am curious - should I get the full CC experience even if I do not use it? Am I missing out on some improvements to ESMs? Any suggestions welcome. Thank you.
