Strange Issue

Hi, first of all, sorry for my bad english. So, the problem is that I´m having a strange issue with armor mods recently downloaded (3 differents mods "ursine armor"-"italian armor" and "gothic armor"). I´m trying to put´em on NPC via Creation Kit, but in-game NPC appears naked. It´s strange because I have others armor mods and Works fine, but since 5 or 6 months I´ve stopped play Skyrim and I´ve come back yesterday. Maybe I need to download a Skyrim update or something perhaps? However, I´ve got Wrye Bash and I know how to use it, so I´ve make the configuration of master files in order to get all the mods working correctly, but with these news mod are not working.

How did you put them on your NPC in CK? Did you just put the armor in their inventory? If so, then they won't wear it by default. They might if you use a follower overhaul, but I don't think that's what you want. In order for them to wear it properly, you have to put the armors into an outfit and then set their Default Outfit to that. TESNexus has a good tutorial on this. Search for "outfit".

Hi, yeah, I´ve put armors into an outfit and not working. It´s strange beacuse always put older mods into an outfit and work fine, but these newer mods are not working.

do you definitely have the UNP body mod (and it is installed correctly) that these mods require, (Ursine armor definitely Requires UNP) including the NPC you are attempting to give this outfit 2. ?

 

as i am pretty sure these outfits will not work on Vanilla Body Types. (again i am pretty sure ursine wont, and i am assuming the other 2 mods would have the same requirements as ursine armor.)

Note: either of them body mods will work, however if downloading the unp varient of these armor, it will convert the female body type to UNP when wearing this armor (Not UNPB, this would require a coversion which are avaible but not from the same author as the original mod.)

mmm does this "UNP" mod only work with females characters? because that is what I´m reading, but ursine armor appears with male character.

as for UNP yes it is a female (only) body replacer.

 

so chances are you might be refeering to other mods then, since the mod i am refeering to is for females only hence UNP, if this unp only armor is given to males, then it will either default to a vanilla game clothing or armour (basically whatever the author gave the male variant on the armor addon window), or it will make the male invisible (specifically the Torso)

ok well first that armour is new to me, not played in a long time, and thus at that time the 1 i mentioned above was only available

 

any who, which version of the mod did you download, if you downloaded the HDT version this would most likely require HDT Physics Extension, so its possible you did download the HDT Version but do not have the HDT Physics Extension. because theirs no indication if you did or did not download i can only assume you did not, and that would explain the issue you are currently having.

 

is this armour also invisible on your character ?

 

also since it does require HDT Physics Extension that also means it requires SKSE (Skyrim Script Extender), so do you also have SKSE and is launching the game Via SKSE (not the Skyrim launcher, steam, or skyrim.exe)

 

if the above is true, then you will need to download both HDT Physics Extension and SKSE and then the Armour should work (if you launch the game via SKSE) again assuming your downloaded the HDT version of the armor in question.
