LHammonds
Short Answer: Most people KNOW what is crossing the line and if you cannot tell and have to ask, it might be best to simply not post it. Longer Answer: If you are talking about the forums, images must be PG because there is no way to protect the kiddos that access these forums. If you are talking about what images can be posted on the Image Share, we are vary lenient and allow quite a bit now that an adult-only filter can be used. The only images that have been deleted so far that I know of were those completely un-related to Oblivion (self-pictures or real-world / non-digital pictures) and one picture where an Oblivion girl was posed with a dog behind her. Nudity is one thing but obscenity is quite another. About being given strikes or being banned for uploading content, you don't have to worry about that for mods or images you upload unless you are doing so just to cause problems, trash the site or other members. A lot of it is common sense and of course you are not going to find us trying to state explicitly what can and cannot be allowed because somebody will try to find loopholes in descriptions and such. If an image crosses the line, a moderator will remove it and tell you so. If you continue to upload things we have to remove, that becomes abuse to the site and staff and that would earn you a strike...harass a moderator and you could be banned as stated in the TOS. We don't care to create a set of rules and regulations that match the size of War and Peace...it is best to keep it simple. Of the people given strikes or banned, VERY few were surprised that it was "wrong" to do so unless they are trying to claim ignorance to get out of trouble and thus cause more disturbance in getting "legislature" passed. So when it comes to images that near the "line" it is really left up to the moderator that evaluates it. It can be overruled by Dark0ne but it is very unlikely as we (Buddah, Dark0ne and myself) tend to agree on the vast majority of all judgments made so far.
