CTD just before main menu

Lately I may have gone a bit mental on installing mods and maybe downloaded a tad too many. My games now crashes just before opening the main menu( but later than if I had a missing master). I tried everything I could, even disabling every mod that the papyrus log mentions. This however doesn't help, since it still crashes and now mentions different mods. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this? The game crashes even with halve the mods that I ran 3 weeks ago (I since then decided to do a clean install and try to download mods again, since I have more experience now(I don't know why since it worked then)).

PS, yes I have SKSE and ENBoost/Series installed and they're working prefectly.
PPS, Neither NMM, Loot, nor TESVEdit mentions any missing master as I have checked.

First of all, you shouldn't download too many mods at once because it may cause many problems. How to fix this? My advice i simple :

 

 

- disable all mods and try to run the game - enable mods one by one

- try to install skse memory patch/crash fixes

- download a clean save from nexus

- use loot

1. you either have corrupted BSA Archives, or you might be Missing Strings (if the strings fail to load, the game will crash before displaying them, in this case New Game, Continue Game, Exit are all Strings, this sounds like what is happening. corrupted archives and missing strings go hand in hand, more specfically the archive that contains strings is either missing, or corrupt. or the string files are missing or corrupt (badly modified)

 

If it is because of missing or corrupted (Badly modified) string files, you can extract the bsa archive that contains them. (i dont have skyrim installed, so i forgot which archive contains it, but you will need bethesda archive extractor tool to extract them.

 

If it is because of missing or corrupted bsa archives then do this below:

 

launch steam - click on Library tab - Right Click on Skyrim - click on Properties - then click on Local Files Tab - then click on: Verify Integrity Of Game Files (Steam will then Restore or Fix Missing or Corrupted data files, by re-downloading them

 

2. also you have a lot of mods that can cause save bloating, thus eventual save game corruption. Sexlab (And Its Related Content) has been known to cause save bloating in the past, from what i gather, i don't know personally however as i tend to stay away from these types of mods. but its been mentioned by many in the past, also i have seen many posts that have issues with their games, and this mod along with mods that require it are usually in said posts (as in the op of the post usually has this mod, and potentially several others that require it) so if this is the case, even if you do manage to fix your game, you will have a bad time, with your current mod setup. crashes, freezes and corruption are inbound. (it will happen eventually, may not be immediate, but the longer you play Skyrim, the higher the chance of problems.) skyrim papyrus system is fragile, the more scripted mods you have, the more likely you will have problems (because the more scripted mods you have, the more scripts will be running at the same time), not too mention the game itself already has a lot of active scripts, it really depends if the mod is setup to only fire scripts on demand, however if the scripts are constantly active this is what leads to issues (save bloat being the inevitable 1). Note: by constantly active i mean constantly spamming scripts.
