ganjastaples7
When I start playing Skyrim, I get funny pixel like things on walls and on textures. What's with that? ttrain721
I get the same thing as do several others. I haven't found a fix yet, I hope I do because it's very frustrating.
wader2k
I had that sort of problem with the 12.2 Precertification drivers from AMD. Rolling back to 12.2 Preview fixed it. I have heard others say that Adaptive AA can be the cause...change back to MSAA in CCC.

I'm having the same problems and would love to fix this.
wader2k
AA is antialiasing. MSAA is multisample antialiasing.CCC is Catalyst Control Center. This is for AMD Graphics Cards. An AMD Device Driver caused this problem for me. The 12.2 Precertification version to be specific. I deleted it and reinstalled an earlier version (12.2 Preview) and the problem went away. Some folks have said that turning off AA .....probably in the Settings section of the Skyrim loader..... gets rid of the problem too. Try that first as it is the easiest thing to check. jordanLoL
So AMD/ATI still have major driver issues? I had terrible issues with AA 3 years ago so I decided to switch. It's a shame too since I was always a supporter of ATi and AMD.
Rennn
Try disabling morphological filtering if you have it enabled. If that doesn't work, disable Afterburner if you have it.If neither of those work, I'm out of ideas. Both of those have fixed it for some people. wader2k
I always load up the latest AMD drivers and the 12.2 PreCert is the first one to cause me any problem. Interestingly enough, the 12.2 WHQL certified was just released and I tried it for grins....no artifacts! The release notes do mention that some artifacting is possible in Skyrim and it will be fixed in 12.3. I would recommend sticking with 12.2 Preview until 12.3 comes out to be safe.
