wfandrews
I was playing and the game crashed, afterwards I went to my save games to delete quicksave, I had crashed after a save, and saw two saves which I had never seen before. They were systemsave.fos and systemsave.nvse. Anyone have any idea why FNV should suddenly produce these save files and why it did?
iXenite
NVAC leaves those files. I'll leave a link where you can read about it. wfandrews
Thank you, I appreciate your reply and the link. When I opened the game again and hit load there was a save which said "CRASH mojave wasteland" I did not try to load that save but went to a previous save and everything seems to be OK now. Any idea where I can find the log file for this?
iXenite
The NVAC logs should be called NVAC.log - and they should be somewhere within the New Vegas folder. The NVAC page on the Nexus should have a legend of sorts that helps you decode what the logs mean.
wfandrews
I found the log and it seems to be a script error at a casual glance. I will go to NVAC page and see if there is a further interpretation. Thank you for all your help, it is very much appreciated.
