To make it compatible with SE, use the Creation Kit and save the ESP in it to turn it into Form 44. The nice thing about this mod is it does not require SKSE. It's a bit clunky as notebooks go, but I use it as an handy in-game reference book for armours I installed, followers, etc. It suits my game play. I expect in due course SKSE-based stuff will appear.
