Paragon010
Hi everyone, So, to give a brief description, the program worked fine, until I had to do a system restore due to a Windows Automatic update locking me out of my computer once it reached 100%. Since then, whenever I have installed Nexus Mod Manager, it says I need Microsoft .NET framework 4.5.2 to run it. So I find it online, download the offline installer, run it and... it fails, says that "The function attempted to use a name that is reserved for use by another transaction". I am not a technical person, so I have no idea what to do or where to go from here. Never needed to do this before the restore on this laptop or my previous computers... and I would like to be able to re-mod Fallout, Skyrim and Dragon Age again, so any help would be appreciated. Especially if it is something simple. If it gets technical, I will likely end up just getting confused or lost. Oh, before anyone asks, yes, I have done a "Clean Boot" and have even ran a .Net cleanup tool and repair tool. The same issue occurs. HeyYou
Have a look at your installed programs, and see if .net 4.5.2 is already there. If it is, uninstall it, reboot, then try your offline installer again.
