I having a problem where my game was working perfectly, I died and my game crashed to desktop. Since then I cant seem to open 2 of my 3 autosaves. I can open the oldest one but all of my mod configurations are gone, all the modded items in my inventory are gone too, and as soon as I load that save all of my mods begin to start up as if it's a new save.

 

I tried to see if I could fix it in Fallrim Tools but all it says when i try to open the save is "Error while reading file. Invalid plugin index: 0"

 

Anyone know if I can fix this?

1. how big is the latest save and how many hours have been put into it, could be save bloat or save game corruption.

 

2. whats happens when you attempt to load 2 of 3 of your autosaves, is it CTD or ILS

 

CTD = Crash to Desktop

 

ILS = Infinite Loading Screen

 

1: They are fairly new saves, only 8MB for the newest one with 4 hours played. I could probably just start a new game but I want to figure out why this happened

 

2: It's a CTD, my bad, should have said that in the post

 

Edit: Should probably highlight that I'm using sleep or save, but I doubt it has anything to do with this because it just forces the game to autosave

Okay so I have found the mod that is causing this, it's the P220 Animation Overhaul.

 

This took ages to troubleshoot because I needed to start a new game every time I disabled a few mods and flew to Sanctuary to save at a bed, then reload the save I just made and see if it works.

 

I have no idea why this mod was the culprit, its like it was writing invalid data to my saves for some reason. Anyone know why?

I've had the same issue with a recent skyrimSE save I started where my game CTD one day randomly and every time i try to load a save afterthat all my mods start up like new and my modded items are gone and configs wiped. Idk how to fix this and wanted to see if maybe Fallrim could solve the issue but then I also got the same issue about the invalid index expect mine was 1 not 0. Idk how to fix either of these issues now.

 

If you find or have found any solution to these two problems or have found other people with the "all mods reloading" issue the help would be immensely helpful. I can't find anyone else with the mod issue bc its hard to search up and/or no else just havent posted about it
