Is it possible to get power armor to auto refill with the core with the lowest charge

I like to use Gattling Lasers, so I end up with meny partially filled cores so im wondering if it is possible to get power armor to auto refill with the core that has the lowest charge.

yes, it is,

a few options exist -

"overcharge backpack" etc.

a lot of folks though just want the container-item itself,

not the 'burst of unlimited ammo" features of the overcharge backpack hehe.

there was also Voiced Power Armor Suit/ AI Power Armor Companion,

which had a similar utility.

 

 

 

the concept is similar to the china lake or improved junkjet -

its a container-array, and get-that's.

onEvent global '|eventID# of power armor out of juice|"

 

so, you put your powercores into that container,

the container sorts it by value per item instance

ie 3 x 99%,

1 x 98%

2 x 73%

55 x 12%

when empty, it get's-that value ping from the container, and auto-adds the lowest...

it's sorta like "first in first out" coding, though arranged by charge. tangent: FIFO coding is great for 'customizable magazines";

what you put into the nested hidden container instance first, is what will be coming out first...

IFF empty AND no items in container, then reload prompt or Pipboy Error Message to HUD...

however, a lot of folks don't mind breaking immersion to just sell the partial core

and use fresh ones/ have power cores be spawned per time interval as part of their settlement stipend etc.

its cheating, though its potentially not as resource-intensive than having a mod which sorts the powercores.

a lot of folks have infini-caps anyway, so they can just 'buy' new fresh powercores etc.
