7B Bombshell clothes on CBBE Body

Hi all!

I's sorry if this question has been asked before, I searched for it and found nothing.

Here's the thing: I'm using CBBE and recently, found some good 7B bombshell armors I wanted to try. I don't want to replace the CBBE with 7B because i have everything CBBE based.

When I load a 7B bombshell armor on a CBBE body, it gets the right shape, but the textures (the skin part) look funny. For example, the nipple texture doesn't match with the mesh position, and the textures in the crotch don't match either.

So, i thought about replacing the base mesh in outfit studio. My plan was to "duplicate" 7B bombshell shape with CBBE sliders... but i found this impossible to do. Perhaps it is my lack of experience, but i cannot replicate the exact shape. It seems like CBBE lacks the necessary sliders... 7B bombshell has a very unique LEG shape which i believe it is not possible to replicate with CBBE default sliders.

So, what are my options here? I'm fairly new to modding, been messing around for a week or so. My first question is: Is there any way to add new sliders to CBBE body? if not, how can i equip 7B bombshell clothes without breaking the textures? I don't want to replace CBBE for all the content, just one toon... is it possible to have both CBBE and 7B? Perhaps a custom race? (i just read about them but know nothing really).

Any idea will be very appreciated.

FAQ9 in the CBBE mod description explains it. Outfit replaces the body, it doesn't go over it; when you put a 7B outfit on a CBBE body, you get 7B's shape with CBBE's textures, but the two body mods have different UV maps (how textures line up on the mesh). So, you end up with 7B's rather...er, 'unique' shape, but with misaligned textures, until you remove the outfit.

 

Your options are:

- Remove CBBE in its entirety and only use 7B and its compatible mods.

- Use a standalone custom race, swap the body meshes/textures with 7B ones, and only use 7B outfits on your character while NPCs use CBBE. Not ideal, as you've have to swap out the body meshes/textures every time you want to swap between 7B and CBBE outfits on your character.

- Use the 'Bodychange' mod. Apparently it can be buggy, though.

- Use Outfit Studio to convert the 7B outfit(s) to be CBBE/BodySlide-compatible.

- Check the CBBE mod list to see if there's any conversions already made of the outfits/find outfits you like even more.
