LE Request: Mod to PERMANENTLY remove follower default armor.

I'm honestly getting annoyed with having Mjoll the Lioness put on the Dragonplate Armor, only to go back to her default banded armor once I enter a new area or fast-travel.

 

I have tried http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=8614

And http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=11662

 

And they both fail when dealing with anyone that isn't Lydia or any other housecarls. Console commands fail, the NPC editor fails, everything fails.

 

So... an actual working mod that is a one time remove-and-be-done-with-it deal would be very nice to see. Two full days of experimenting with mods and swapping armors and experimenting in the console has pretty much put me over the deep end, so I'd rather just wait until a mod is perfected to keep this respawning, rewearing default armor from ever happening again.

I know I have a bunch of NPC's using the NPC Wander Script around my castle, and unfortunately they all keep changing out of their cool armors into loin cloths and rags.
