EvilDeadAsh34
I've been trying to make custom Movement Types to assign to the various races but when i assign the newly created MT nothing happens. I have successfully changed the speeds of other creatures by changing their MT values but when i create a new one and try to attach it to a race it doesn't change their speed. I am trying to create a custom speed set for Bosmer's. Here's what i did...1. I created 2 new MT's for Bosmer's called Bosmer_Default_MT and Bosmer_Sprinting_MT. I adjusted the values to be a little but noticeably higher than the NPC_Default_MT and NPC_Sprinting_MT values.2. I opened the Wood Elf race and went to the "Move Data" tab.3. I picked the new Bosmer_Default_MT and Bosmer_Sprinting_MT's and assigned them to their proper slots under "Base Movement Defaults" at the bottom of the "Move Data" tab. BTW, I used the Draugr as a reference because they use custom Movement Types.4. Saved, started the game, went to Faendal and he was the exact same speed as before... I even changed my race via the "showracemenu" command and nothing changed. I have my mod at the very bottom of my load order so i'm sure nothing is overriding it. What am i doing wrong? I think i could be missing a step but im not sure what. Or am i going about it the completely wrong way? Any help is, as always, very much appreciated. sulmithgreysin
same problem here, chances are it's just related to how the CK doesn't copy data properly maybe someone who knows something about scripting can fix it, i've got nothing and would love a fix too something you could do that you may find suitable is to adjust their acceleration rates, run speed is based on HEIGHT + speed taller runs faster, but if you reduce acceleration rate they'll go from not moving - full speed faster the number is in seconds for actual characters (actors) you can just up their speed (stats) from 100-200 and they'll follow you really good without moving around like a pinball in combat Edited March 12, 2012 by sulmithgreysin

Lillysdad2009
Did you guys ever find any answers on this? I know this is a really old post, but I am having the same issue. I am able to edit any of the existing MT's. But after making a new one, I haven't been able to get any results.
