Adding new dialogue to PS4/XB1

Hello,

 

I have a mod that I am currently working on. I have created a merchant that works fine. I added some dialogue to him which works great on my PC during testing. The problem is that after uploading to PS4 my friend reports that he doesn't see the dialog. I'm assuming this may be some kind of limitation or bug from the PS4? I am wondering how people fix this on XB1 and what I can do to work around it, if anything?

Yep, it call a Seq file, it's required for dialogue to work, & not allowed on a P4, but the good news is it is on XB1, you will however for the XB1 need the correct game Dialogue Format, not the Wave & Lip File Creation kit types files, which a PC can run but a console can't. The correct optimize format for dialogue is fuz file, which the xwm format merge with the lip format.

 

Check the nexus utilities for Unfuzer.

 

So No Bug, you haven't attempted any research to learn how thing work. So you don't need a work around so any sort. Just do it properly. Within as you stated: the limitations of what is possible. It your job to find these thing out, so you don't waste your time. Now that are aware of these limitations.

Let me say that I really appreciate your response but I don't appreciate you insulting my intelligence. As I stated in my original post "This works fine on PC". Obviously I know about the dialogue bug or I wouldn't have been able to speak to the merchant myself. I have SSEEDIT, WyreBash, Loot, NMM, you name it.

 

Do me a favor - Go on google and look up "How to fix dialogue bug PS4 Skyrim construction kit" and let me know what your research finds.

 

I've managed to do a LOT of things with PS4 through research including re-texturing armor and weapons but this one one area that I couldn't find a solution. So yeah I know about the SEQ file but what I don't know from the countless youube vidoes I have watched is whether or not the dialogue will never appear or appear sometimes.

 

I quit modding for a long time because I became discouraged and a PS4 user convinced me to come back. Since then I have created what I think is a really unique and cool mod but the PS4 users I'll always appreciate because they will appreciate my 3 months of work solo far more than anyone else. That is why even though I felt there was no solution that I could find I made a last ditch effort to ask someone here if there was any way to solve this issue.

 

Clearly now I must rely on books to tell my story on the mod. No big deal. I honestly do appreciate you taking the time to read my post but I think you shouldn't jump to such rash and condescending conclusions when replying to posts, it's very discouraging to myself who is a fairly new modder.
