Don't overclock your cpu for nexusmod manager!

During uninstalling big files of mods and it crashes my pc, I have encountered high cpu usage in nexusmod manager. It freezes my computer with random restarts because of "OVERHEATING OF CPU". I highly recommend water pump cooling system not air cooler heatsink. So i simple reset my cpu clock to default by use the method like turn off the pc then unplug and re-plug the cmos battery!

1. you either have Harddrive Failure

2. or your Harddrive is Failing

3. or your CPU is Not Overclocked Properly, if this is the case, i Strongly Recommend you start reading Tutorials on how to Properly Over Clock your CPU. the CPU Should Not be Overheating for a Basic Task such as the above. Especially when its the Hard Drive job to install and uninstall mods.

i Don't believe that Nexus Mod Manager is a CPU Intensive Task, meaning this program would not cause high cpu usage, only CPU Intensive Games and CPU Intensive Tasks will cause high cpu usage, and even then very few. the only programs that can cause maximum cpu usage, is burn test tools, like prime95 or intel burn test (basically you will never get 100% CPU usage outside of using burn tools especially not on all cores, unless their is a serious issue with your system).

temperature is entirely based on CPU Usage and Core Voltage (or any form of Voltage supplied to the CPU) and of course Ambient Temperatures and Computer Cooling Solutions. however Core Voltage and Cpu Usage are the Biggest Factors in CPU Temperature. if its overheating from a basic task (that is primarily the hard drive's job, then you have serious issues here. again if you insist on over clocking your cpu, you will need to learn how to do it, since you are Clearly Not Doing It Right)

Note: other factors to consider are, Spyware, Malware or Viruses, these can all cause System Hangs and System Restart. also Corrupted or Broken Windows Installation can also cause many issues such as these listed.

it is Absolutely Not Necessary to have a Water Pump Cooling Solution unless you are doing Extreme Overclocking, Air Cooling Solutions nowadays are very capable of keeping the Cpu Nice and Cool, even at 5ghz Overclocked.

for example i currently have a very good air cooled pc, and i can easily have my cpu run at 5ghz. with only a slight increase in temperatures. however my system is high end, and recent. so granted older cpu will need better cooling but even so, if you have an older cpu, i doubt you will be doing Extreme Overclocking anyway, unless you can afford to replace the cpu if it blows up.

Edit: Just literally Installed and Uninstalled a 1 gigabyte file in Nexus Mod Manager and my CPU Usage the entire time was literally 5% lmfao, so yea, Nexus Mod Manager is Extremely Light Weight on Cpu Usage. disk usage was 200 megabyte a second (i love this ssd)
