cumbrianlad
Hi. I was about done with a version of the Manor and thought it would be nice to have it adoption friendly on SSE. I looked up the requirements and the first one raised a question, which snowballed into a nightmare! The home is supposed to have a new exterior location, map marker and certain keywords. Obviously the manor is in a named cell already, not wilderness. The last thing I'd want to do is rename DLC2Ravenrock01 to something else and add a new location to it. My only other option would appear to be to add the necessary keywords to the DLC2Ravenrock location that is the parent of the cell with the manor. Is this acceptable, or would it cause problems? This leads onto the last problem connected with this. Even if it's safe to add keywords to the Ravenrock location, the location created for the adoption house is supposed to have a 'world location marker ref', which is a mapmarker. Ravenrock doesn't have one. I've trawled through dozens of Solstheim locations and not found one with such a reference set up. Not only that but when I experimented to add one to it, the option was not available in the location dialogue box. the filters were greyed out and the crosshairs were red when trying to add the reference in the render window. This seems true of anywhere in Solstheim. Is this something deliberately omitted from the DLC? Maybe it's why you can't fast travel by normal means to Solstheim. I tried asking the mod author of the Oldrim mod that made the manor adoption friendly but haven't got an answer yet. Looking at the mod itself in CK, I can't figure out how this condition was met. I must be missing something but I'm stumped!
