ManBreakfast Posted June 3, 2008 Share Posted June 3, 2008 My greatest wish, being a ritual player of Oblivion and complete supporter of mods and modders alike, I was wondering if anyone was interested in making a mod so that the Goblin could become a playable race. If there is already such a thing, then I'd be very glad if someone could point the way. I mean, who can get enough of those sick diminutive wretches that just seem to spawn from garbage? If someone were to take my advice and begin the task of creating the race, it would be great to keep the same animations and basic shape of the goblin. I don't know if it would be possible to keep their same feral stance or not, but that would make this the best, and also their gigantic head, hands, and feet. It would also be great if the being could wear armor, it doesn't matter if he could don a helm or not, considering that option, or option 2: staring at the terrifyingly awesome face of a goblin! It might seem kind of foolish and childish, but this to me would be a great accomplishment and task for any modder, and i would appreciate it most if someone were to use this idea. Once again sorry if this was recommended before by someone else, but obviously if it was, then it wasn't that great because I haven't heard about it :D Good luck on attempting this if you do, and I would love to hear about it... lolassassin101 Posted June 3, 2008 Share Posted June 3, 2008 well the mod has been done before, BUT not as a Goblin from oblivion but more of a shorter Bosmer with wild hair and just dark brown skin, therefore not an oblivion one but an uglier (If thats even possible!) than the Oblivion Goblins (i cant remember the name of the mod or its creator) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(by a good moddeler :whistling: ) But you'r stuck with the same general body shape and posure as the other races. Well I guess the goblin would look pretty much just like an orc with the same body, and I don't know if I'd be satisfied with a brown bosmer, but that sounds funny, thanks. what if you used sneak walking for his normal walk or something maybe that would work. But I guess since the body would have to be the same, then it wouldn't be that great of an endeavour for me to try. Thanks for the help mate, and I think that just gave me an idea! There could be made a spell that transforms the caster into a goblin. I've seen things like it done- Midas Magic has the eagle, wolf, and weretiger transformations which are truly amazing, and there was even a race made by someone that can use a power to transform into a deer.
