Oh! So I was already encountering your bug and just did it off as another one of mine... well, that figures, and in more than one way. *where's a face slap smiley when you need one?*

 

The aura's worn in a ring slot? That would make sense and explain why it's not showing for me. I don't have any items able to hide rings anymore in my game, but a lot of items using this slot of my own. I'll check this out again next time and make sure there's nothing blocking the ring.

 

Well, her body's not of my doing. I just chose Robert's Female bodies for her, because the UV layout is the easiest to make fitting and non-distorted/-stretched scaled skin textures for. The others are a literal nightmare to texture, to be honest, and believe me, I did it with "all" in the past for my Argonian Beautification. Textures with a lot of structure, in stark contrast to flat and blurry washed-out human skin textures, like Argonians' or my dragons' scales, and all other body mods but Robert's just don't go well together.

 

I made all her items flat-chested already, because the default c-cup isn't her style. And when in dragon shape there aren't any breasts at all to begin with. They're reptilians, not mammals, after all. But apart from that I didn't really put much thought or effort into her body shape designs. That's all the body mod's doing still.

 

Ah, yes, I think there's a limit on attachments in sum of their overall filesize you can have uploaded to the site. Maybe you hit your's already, as attachments aren't meant to be used as an image share host. I can't check it though, only my own.

 

So, getting back at the problem at hand, now that I know what it is I should investigate, I know what I'll do next. I think I already have an idea how this standing up after death issue can be fixed or prevented, simply by introducing a check of your health before calling Update3D and not calling it to begin with in case you're already dead. But I'll give it some test runs in my game first before I'll know for sure it'll work. It's still very dependent on internal timings. Are you already dead, health below 0, when the spell runs out? Or does the spell run out -before- you die? Little things which could easily make or break it.

 

But one thing is sure, calling Update3D -after- your death is definitely not such a good idea. From all I know it will make you stand up regardless, force reset you into your idle pose, but because you're dead it's unlikely you'll be able to move. It all fits together, so I'm quite sure that's the source of the issue, and the likelihood of my fixing idea to work is high.

 

 

edit: Yass, I can confirm. Calling Update3D on you -after- your death causes exactly the issue we're talking of here. This means, in theory, my idea for a fix should work as well. Make it so you don't call Update3D in the ScriptEffectFinish block, if you're already dead, i.e. "GetAV Health <= 0".

 

One thing I noticed though on my last tryouts some minutes ago. Neither was I able to get the aura to show, nor did the hair replacement work correctly for me, that is, it was still sitting 90° rotated forwards on my head, with both genders. I'll continue testing some while I'm testing my own stuff today. Maybe I'll figure it out.

 

Oh, Kaira will love what's going to happen next... I'll strip Drake stark naked and see if the aura will finally show! :laugh:

Oh gosh. Okay I tossed out the 2.0 update today. Did the hair issue occur with the update? Try with the update. After I made it I completely removed AWSS1 and reinstalled with the update on my big PC and it was working okay. Btw AWSS1 = Amber W Super Saiyan 1 idk if I will do super Saiyan 2 or 3 may cause too many problems with ss2 electrical effects and ss3 long hair but Super Saiyan Blue = AWSSB1 I'm thinking of making a stat multiplayer transformation and basic Kaio-Ken = just red Aura for 60 seconds should be simple. I will test your solution to the script effect finish

Well, when I encountered these issues it was with the 2.0 update "before" you announced and uploaded a fix. So that could've been it.

 

Sadly I didn't get around to give it another go yesterday as I originally planned. Got a phone call from my boss with more work to do, so my free time was abruptly gone. I replaced the faulty 2.0 update with the fixed one already though and will give this one another go whenever I get to it again.

 

I hope everything else is working well in the mean time.

 

 

(God, what I learned from this topic, that these race-changing-on-the-fly functions actually work now, is giving me so many new ideas for what I previously scrapped due it having been impossible or insanely super-complex to achieve in the past, regarding my shape shifting. Now that I know these functions do work indeed, I can revisit old and scrapped concepts from years ago again and this time they'll work! ...Now I just need free time.)

Right! I have a side project right now changing race is cake now as long as you have a place holder for your real race and features. I'm not sure yet how this would work with MBP but it works fine with colour wheels stuff. Now I'm interested in changing species. I'm talking maping out the deadric spider and playing as one with biped weapon slots and such. This will require new KF files and a hybrid skeleton. But I think it could be done with enough attention reworking upper body nif files. For the upper body in this example. The upper body would be human then making lower body armor for the spider legs think horse armor. As long as you stay with the given slots for the human race I think it can be done if it has not already. I told one of my guy friends that I was getting back into modding and he brought over this DISGUSTING mod called monster chicks or something like that on his lappy. It was so disturbing but some of the thing the game was doing kinda opend my eyes and now I feel like Alice in wonderland. I think being half human half spider would be so cool. Just think you see a whole heard of zombies your like okay. Cast a spell at one and become a zombie for a while. Incognito lol

Anyways forgive my aimless rambling. No sleep 16, hrs. Blah. Yeah! Amber's Super Saiyan goes Super Saiyan Blue in 2 days. This darn mod is up to 80mb. I can't believe that nonsense.

 

I just need time to finish polishing Vegeta Hair I had to make blue eyebrows on a face texture. tell me that's not funny!

How about Playable and NPC Creatures for a start?

 

For what it's worth, they do not only provide a ready-made version, they also explain what one needs to do in order to create one's own in pretty much detail.

I don't remember all the details about how it worked myself anymore, but that's only natural considering I last looked at it in May 2016. :ermm:

 

 

edit: Oh, hey! I finally managed to give it another test run last night, after a huge family feast was over and all guests went home.

Initially I was doing it to test my Gliding Flight approach now successfully enhanced to also work on rideable creatures, i.e. my creature dragon version of Drake of course,

but when I loaded the game and stood in front of your shrine, I remembered I promised something there and gave it another run.

 

Now, with the latest version you uploaded, everything was working fine. I could transform back and forth without any noticeable issues so far. The only thing I couldn't yet get to show up was the aura still. I need to figure out what's still blocking it on my end there next time I get back into the game.

 

...Oh, my, and I just realized I also didn't check what happens when I die while transformed either... Gah, this stupid thing called memory of mine is so unreliable sometimes... :pinch:
