bpestilence Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Don't bother. The axe of whiterun is not a unique item, just a leveled enchanted 2-hand axe.
vv211 Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 if you're really desperate to get the axe open up the console by pressing "~" and then type in : "player.additem ITEM QUANTITY" where ITEM is the code for the item. the code for the axe of white run is "10eb84" and then you would enter in however many you want.

Brandy1123 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Its not always a 2 handed axe, its apparently psuedo-randomly generated. What you get will be on the Jarl and visible. If you are concerned about getting an item you can use with your present skill set, save before you enter the building and go see what the Jarl has. If you don't like it, reload and try again
