macmert
I recently finished the main questline for Oblivion... and decided to go to the shivering isles and went to the small island there, get near the door, the crazy khajiit was there, then another NPC popped out of the door and we started fighting, We killed him(me and the guard there) and then I spoke to the guard and tried to go through the door, and a message... the door wont open for you... What the heck?? Does shivering isles require something? like lvl prerequisite or something?

macmert
uhh... ok... First of all, who is this sheogorath character?? A voice was screaming at me like "I want my champion" and stuff... Can it be that? Or do I have to finish KOTN first? I will give it another try when I go home, oh and a little question... Who is giving the deadric shrines quest? Is there a questline for it? I am like talking to people and finding those shrines... And for Daedric shrine quests, you'll need to do at least one for Main Quest, but you can do those quest at any time, mostly.

Note, though, that most Daedric princes require an "offering", but you'll know what that must be if you talk to the worshippers around the shrine. macmert
ok thx guys I just went through the door yesterday I have to admit it is hard thou :D the enemy are much more aware, even with ring of khajiiti and 125 skill points of sneak doesnt save me :D in normal game I would bump to people and they wouldnt even notice :D
TokyoLil
As I understand it there shouldn't be any reason why NPCs and monsters should be more able to detect you in the Shivering Isles. Having said that, certain NPCs essential to the story will interact with you regardless. The Guardian at the wall is probably set to hyper-aware due to his importance in the story. Once you are past him you'll be please to find monsters every bit as dull-witted as in the main game.
macmert
Really??? I know some NPC are essencial and they interact, but for the first time in Oblivion, one monster, the ones, grummogh or something, detected me from afar :D I mean it was kinda good cause the game is going relatively easy for me since I use two mods that tweak sneaking and arrow damage...
