I have posted about not using the height map as I.......shamed to say.......forgot about it, so after getting bored of scrolling around the island I have created to make the sea i decided to use the height map to quickly get it out the way. Now that sounds a good idea, but 4 hours 25 mins later its still doing nothing, its not crashed as the timmer is still counting and task man says its working and not on not responding. See in 4 hours i could have just used the flatten terrain brush and done this, which left me thinking wth is wrong with the ck's height map. Any one else got these insane save times?
