doylej
Hi guys, I literally have never posted on a forum before - I take pride in my ability to use the Google search engine and benefit from the innovative work by other unfortunates who have fixed problems before me. However, I cannot fix this.Sky UI Error Code 7 - to do with SKSE's scripts being overwritten. The thing is - I have reinstalled Skyrim, the legendary edition, reinstalled SKSE, I have reinstalled everything, tried restarting the computer after installing. I have checked everything is the latest edition. I am not trying any mods at all in addition to SKY UI, in order to control the issue. Nothing. I have literally manually put everything in the correct place. When NMM couldn't fix it, nor LOOT, I tried doing it manually. For some reason, it is as if my Sky UI will not recognise SKSE. Or it is lying to me. Someone please help me! I have tried the INI fix where you check for the bInvalidoldfiles fix or whatever it's called, I have tried a lot of stuff, and am willing to retry things if anyone can help me! Kind Regards,Doyle
Grospolina
Can you upload screenshots of your Skyrim root folder and Skyrim\Data\scripts folder? Or list all the contents in a spoiler tag or on pastebin? Edited November 2, 2017 by Grospolina
doylej
Hey Grospolina,Here are the two screenshots you requested. Is there anything else I can do to help you help me solve this problem ? Kroekr
I do not see skse.pex in your script folder. Go back over the install directions, I think you missed a step.
doylej
That was my fault. The screenshot didn't go down to where it was in the folder: see below.
Grospolina
Sorry, can't help. TESV.exe.bak and SkyrimLauncher.exe.bak are the correct sizes. TESV.exe and SkyrimLauncher.exe are not. SKSE does look installed correctly though. Edit: I wasn't trying to trick you or anything. I really wanted to see if SKSE was installed correctly. doylej
Ah I should be able to fix this easily. I am only using this version because me and my brother originally shared Skyrim on our family-shared Steam account. He just moved to Australia and until he finishes his honeymoon I cannot reach him. This is a relief, easy to fix. Edited November 2, 2017 by doylej
