Vagrant0
Basically, I was wondering if someone around here would be able to make me a quick little picture of an Orc's head. Something fairly simple, no screenshots. Should be kinda styled to look right on a sign as that is what I intend to do with it. In whatever format provided, I was planning on mapping it onto a sign, and adding some text so that it would work with my mod. Some reasonable quality is preferred, but nothing too severe. You could even use MS paint. Basically, I just want the head of an orc in the image, shoulders may be included if it helps get a sense of proportions, facing straight on. Credit will be given, as long as it is understood that the image will probably be modified. If more than one person shows an interest, I will go with whichever one fits my purposes best. I'm just looking for an alternative to bothering my team about something like this, and to coloring over a screenshot. And it is my hope that something drawn by a person, without any references, will get the sort of results I am looking for. Thanks. P.S. If anyone has some good screenshots of generic landscapes (without relious or city specific buildings), or without any of the usual flair (women, creatures) which are the norm in the uploaded images section, and would like to release it for use on portraits within my mod, I would be interested. Could really use something like snowy scenes, or the sorts of stuff that isn't already ingame (green trees, grasslands). Sure, I could just dig through the archives and bug people about it, or even just take my own screenshots. But I figured I'd give some people a chance to get listed in credits who don't have much modding experience. Again, images will be resized, cropped, and modified as needed. jroin
So...., just to be clear on this, you want a sketch or a drawing to inspire you? (would a hand drawn sketch suffice?)or does it HAVE to be something made with a program like "Photoshop"? So here's wat you might get: A drawing of and Orc.Facing straight forward (not in perspective) About the landscape is clear, you want SCREEN SHOTS. -No, I'm still not English-
Vagrant0
So...., just to be clear on this, you want a sketch or a drawing to inspire you? (would a hand drawn sketch suffice?)or does it HAVE to be something made with a program like "Photoshop"? Not looking for inspiration, looking for something I can use to transfer onto a sign in game (like those you see outside shops). A hand drawing might be a bit difficult to work with since it would likely be harder to isolate, and then alter to make it a usable image. I realize that I'm being a bit vague, but I'm hoping that I'll get lucky, and it'll work to my advantage. If you think you can hand draw and scan something I can use, you're welcome to try. However a grayscale image, or a doodle on notebook paper probably wouldn't work too well.
Vagrant0
I guess maybe it's not so quick... Trying again. Ideally, screenshots would be best if done with some decent LOD replacements and full distance view, just so that as much detail shows as possible. Vagrant0
what about the default concept art? Orc Concept ArtThe problem being that Bethsoft, or whomever made that owns the rights to it. Would rather get shut down because of some borrowed and re-used art.
