HagiuAlexandru
I finally finished moving every item in Sanctuary underground and i wanted to start building my settlement. I created like half of a 5 storey building ,saved and closed the program. When i came back later and openend my program , i got this errors. The items that are getting deleted are from the Snappy HouseKit Mod. Anyone knows why I m getting this error and how to fix it? I properly loaded all the files. chucksteel
Are you trying to use an .esp as a master? If so you can't do that your edits will not take.

Yes, i used .esp What do i need to do to be able to use those props? Building with those prefabs it's way easier than using the original prefabs. LoneRaptor
You'll have to open the mod you want to use parts of in FO4edit and in the file header mark It as esm (in the record flags section) and save the mod. You should now be able to use it without losing everything when reopening it.
HagiuAlexandru
I have another question, i m gonna put it here so i won't create a new post. If I create my settlement mod using objects from Snappy HouseKit Mod or Snap and Build mod. People downloading the mod will also need to have those mods installed for my settlement mod to work? LoneRaptor
Yes, if they don't have those mods installed the items from them will not show up.
HagiuAlexandru
Is there a way for me to save those objects inside my settlement mod, so i won't need to have snappy and snb instaled , in order to work?
LoneRaptor
If you can get permission from the original authors to do so you can copy them(copy as new record) into your esp using FO4Edit first and then build with the copied ones.
HagiuAlexandru
Is there a way for me to save those objects inside my settlement mod, so i won't need to have snappy and snb instaled , in order to work? Sorry to bother you again. I managed to copy the objects, but only only the models got copied. How do I copy the texture and materials? I think I have to use Bethesda archive extractor, right? But after I extract them, what do I do with them?
LoneRaptor
You should be able to extract the BA2 archives to your data folder using archive extractor or the one that comes with the CK(Fallout 4\Tools\Archive2). Then when you create your archive for your mod using the creation kit it will find them and package them in the new BA2 archives.
