giskarduk
Pass on my congrats to Liquid Graph, Ibsen and to you of course. I know this was a massive project for you and I know the pain that comes with sorting out voice actors. Its the worst nightmare any modder has to suffer with so anybody who helped you and didnt mess you around are the best of all players in my eyes. Be sure to pm me a list over on mechstorm of the ones you found reliable, that way i can treat them with the respect they have earned and deserve. Reliable voice actors are as rare as rocking horse poo, pardom my french, as you know. Talented reliable ones can be counted on 1 finger, I only know one and thats you. The rest are still learning but not up to your standards.Hay that makes me think, why dont you open a website and offer tips to noobies on creating characters, most dont even think about stuff that comes automatically to you. Even I learned a lot from you mate. Respect and best wishes. Giskard

Giskard Whoah!  :thanks: That's really nice to hear coming from such an experienced and highly respected modder such as yourself. The respect is mutual, bud! FYI, I have my own little sub-forum at Silgrad Tower where we discuss the acoustics but, more relevantly, I have posted some fairly extensive tutorials elsewhere in the acoustic department. Perhaps I should post them up here, too. Actually, I've been thinking of putting my complete generic race sound sets on general release. I'm probably best sticking with the project for now as we have some really great ideas that could seriously improve the overall acoustic outlook of Oblivion but I was thinking of releasing them as separate packs. Nonetheless, as liquidgraph and others are aware of, even if you're very good at every voice, it helps to have someone new and fresh and I'm always happy to help others as I've been doing this for a good number of years now. But I think I can confirm that reliability of my fellow VAs is sadly a rare commodity. Btw, my ladies were mainly recruited from the TTLG forums where I first began my voice acting. Some of the VAs there are amazing! I had originally planned to use MsLedd and Wynne, who are legends in the field, but one had serious family issues and the other just mysteriously disappeared from all forums...
giskarduk
Its weird but I have more woman signing up to voice act than men and they are more reliable too so perhaps i should make a army of women warriors mod sometime :) Btw TEC is perhaps 2 months away from being finished. I may do my own province at that time and show my own forum users how to mod various things, I am sure they will enjoy it. Dont worry about the compliments going to your head, if i see the ego inflating i'll start saying your crap at voice acting until it returns to normal size hehe :bunny: Btw I enjoy good mods and talented individuals work as much as anybody else :) Giskard
Ibsen3
Its weird but I have more woman signing up to voice act than men and they are more reliable too Women, huh? Where have they been all my life? Btw, I got news from Liquidgraph saying that he may or may not have encountered a bug that means that implementing the lines will knock the main quest out of kilter but he thinks he should be able to solve it. However, he will have to play through the whole mod again just to test it. It is, after all, a FINAL final release.
hoots7
Wonderful news, I am so happy for you guys.Just to be clear, is v13 the latest & greatest (final) version? Link http://www.lostspires.com/pages/downloads.htm At your site it says "#5 Lost Spires doesn't feature voiced dialogue at this time."http://www.lostspires.com/pages/readme.htmWhat's up with that?Do they just need to update the readme? I often have to play through my mods from the start to test them so i know how he feels, its ok for the players doing it once or twice but quest mod makers have to do lot more than that just to test their work. No  I didn't know that one had come out, to be honest. But I can confirm that it is v.14, that's version 14, that will be the fully voiced dialogue version. Liquidgraph has to implement and test the files first. Hopefully, he can estimate a release date soon but his working life has been taking over a bit lately. As I say, I've not checked out v.13 but I imagine it accounts for all of the error corrections and improvements over the last few months, as reported at his more regular haunt on the Bethesda forums. I would also say that that release is a very good sign because if he's already got those bits sorted then he won't have to go through all of that in time for the next release. I often have to play through my mods from the start to test them so i know how he feels, its ok for the players doing it once or twice but quest mod makers have to do lot more than that just to test their work. Giskard Yeah, liquidgraph has enlightened me over this lengthy process. I don't envy him. Although if I ended up testing it, I'd get too involved in enjoying it to notice any errors :P
Lainge
Cool mod, but what's with that sword you get? The one that looks like an axe, how is that a sword. (The one you pretty much mug the guy in cheydinhal for).

Lainge
I'm asking why it's a onehanded sword not a blunt weapon.
