meh12345
Ah, let's give this a try… 295.73 was really, really bad for my system (295.51 works fine). Hopefully this'll end up better.
Staind716
Thanks for the info. Downloading it now. If you are currently using the driver released right before this one (I forget the number) you won't see another huge performance gain since that was addressed in the last driver (New features and performance since R285 WHQL-certified driver) since this is the second release in the family but it is still worth checking out. Staind716
Working really good for me. I did actually get a little performance increase. Nothing drastic but noticeable.
meh12345
Nope, sadly I'm seeing regression again. With 2 x GTX 560 using 295.51, I've an average of somewhere around 50 FPS (the range is something like 40 up to 80). The new driver drops me to 25-30, so rolling back once again. I should probably mention this on the NVidia forums...
a7x5631
Runs around the same for me. It's only a minor update. Microsoft was quick to release this driver compared to the last. We waited about a month or two for the WHQL drivers last time.
xlcr
hi fyi, 3 other people installed v295-296.10 and noted they cannot force antialiasing thru Nvidia control panel anymore; and,AA will only work if you have it enabled in-game now. I'm guessing they might be referring to NVIDIA Control Panel / Manage 3D Settings / Program Setting features:Antialiasing - Gamma correctionAntialiasing - ModeAntialiasing - SettingAntialiasing - Transparency http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/615400-forcing-antialiasing/? samoyed1958
got the new release, for my drivers on the 14th and now skyrm seems to freeze up on me in random locations. sometimes when I am in dialog or just walking around, the game just freezes up.. Under skyrim options Antialiasing is set to 8 samples and Anisotropic filtering is set to 16 samples, with my detail set to high... high... ultra and ultra. so am at a lose as what to do now.. SubjectProphet
I don't recommend downloading this guys, just stick with you're current driver. It seems to be causing problems to a lot of people who use it. So, yeah, I'll just stick my current drivers which work like a charm.
