Changes to the AI behavior of settlers

Hello All,

When a settlement is attacked the universal response is a Banzai attack by all settlers. This pretty much reduces assigned guards to eye-candy. I'd like to see a mod that allows for Farmers and Scavengers to run to a "safe spot" during an attack.

The player would specify a location in the settlement where settlers could hunker down and wait for hostilities to end. If not location was specified then settlers could fall back on the old Banzai attack.

Does anyone know of a mod that could perform this, or know of someone that might be able to build such a mod, or know of a place I can go to learn how to change the settler behavior myself?

We definitely need such a mod!

I hate that every settler in the settlement going crazy when a single ghoul or something like that seen at the perimeter. For the make things worse, if they detect something to attack even further, they will continue to fight. I wish there is a mod to prevent settlers that are not guards stay in their jobs when an attack occurs. Yesterday my settlers in Starlight Drive-inn attack a ghoul from inside settlement walls, they damage their own crops inside the walls!!

We need a mod to solve this annoying issue or knowledge of a way to tweak spesific settler behaviours.

Hi everyone, I think this mod doing the mentioned thing: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/28645?tab=description

Quote from the mod's description:

"Emergency assembly points: non-guard settlers will run to the nearest point when the settlement is under attack. Guards, robots, and companions, instead, will fight against the hostiles as default. Useful to increase the chance to keep alive the settlers set in mortal mode.

- Optional: a non-guard settler, owning a “Reservist Dog Tag” in the inventory, will join the fight instead of looking for an assembly point.
- Optional: a guard settler or a robot, owning a “Rearguard Dog Tag” in the inventory, will remain in the rears instead of joining the fight."
