Fallout 4 Quick Pick

Hy,

i love playing Skyrim a lot, but it's a hazzle to swap weapons/spells, even with SkyUi.

Out of that and some other reasons, i recently played a lot Fallout 4.

The first cool thing i mentioned, was the Fallout 4 way to handle the way playing with controller.

Fallout 4 has a sort of "Quick Pick Cross", what makes it easy and fast to switch between favorited weapons and or items.

It works like the normal D-Pad quickpick for Skyrim, just with the tripple ammount.

Looks like this

You choose a item/weapon as favorite and assign it to the cross quick pick where you want it. Then you press for example D-Pad left, left + A to confirm (X-Box Controller) and boom you got whatever favorite is placed there.

This would be super easy and nice for Skyrim too.

At best with a fixed assignment to left/right hand and automatically unequip option or something better, to avoid this stupid "weapon stuck on hand" bug.

Like, you set a weapon/spell as favorite, then the cross poofs out and you choose the place of the item/weapon you want it to be on the cross. After that, 2 symbols plop up, the left and right hand, so you can assign it to whatever your liking is.

Is anyone possible to create this? Would be the most awesome ever.

Nexus seems to be down again. But once it's back up, there's AH Hotkeys, and More Hotkeys Please. I cannot verify any of these as I am currently getting a 520 error, so I can't say for certain it's what you want, but it only took me five minutes of google searching using the terms "Skyrim" and "Hotkeys" and "mods." Both of which seem to require playing with the SKSE folder, so just be sure to back it up. I know the cross you're talking about, and Skyrim already has the number keys defaulted to hotkeys, so you can do that anyway, I believe:

For this example I'll use two swords, a shield, fire, and heal for our items/spells. First you have to favorite them by pressing F in the items/spells menus. Then you press Q in game to bring up the favorites menu. Now I love dual wielding so I'm going to L-click and R-click on the sword to put on in each hand, then while I still have the sword selected if I press 1 that assigns that combo to 1 key any time I press it I'm now dual wielding swords. Now comes the tricky part the sword is labeled with a 1 so I can't assign another key to it, but if I put my shield (or any other weapon) in my left hand and press 2 (while that item is highlighted) it will give me a sword/shield combo when ever I press the 2. I can continue this by equipping the heal and pressing 3 and then fire by pressing 4 (while keeping that item highlighted). Want to add a great sword or bow select it and press your desired key.

From a reddit thread. So take it for what it's worth.

It took me 1 minute to find that befor i even thought about opening a thead.

Has nothing to do with what i asked for.

They are multiple years old, totaly bugged, unusable and for keyboard.

I was asking for a controller related mod, what is absolute superior against current hotkey mods.

Thx anyway, i just don't like it if people call someone dumb threw the lines for no reason.

Whoah, first of all, I never called you, or even implied that you were dumb. Second, I don't use a controller because I happen to be a member of the PC Master Race, and yet, not once did I call you out for being a console person. Third, I understand you're looking for a controller-based option; the problem is, not a lot has been done in that area simply because console modding is often cast to the side in favor of PC modding, because on PC we don't have to deal with Sony bitching about "Ermergerd! We don't want third party derpa derp console derp script injecting."

I simply presented what is out there, and if you take the time to understand the how of those mods, you could adapt them to your own. There are plenty of software out there that allows you to use controller interfaces, but you have to assign them the key values. You're in uncharted territory from what I see, and there's a very real possibility that what you want hasn't yet been made. That doesn't preclude you from pm-ing the authors of said mods above and asking them how they did what they did, and if there is a way to adapt it to your needs.

Next time, try to wait at least twice before cranking out on someone just because they give you information that you weren't looking for; it's generally part of troubleshooting 101--you know, getting your point across?

Dude wtf, i don't even own a console, just a xbox classic and it's 15 yearsold.

I'm playing on PC, with controller chilled on my couch on a TV, like every normal human is doing with Skyrim.

This is a request forum, i did a request and hope for a little wonder comes true, i have no clue why you're here.

Nothing what you're writing, is related to my post. All you say, is alrdy checked/done/observed for years from me.

There is not a single part new to me, but you're talking to me as i would be dumb, as i would have no clue and would be totally unexperienced.

Pls stop your unrelated insult, i need this topic for my request and not to debate with a person, who has nothing construcive to say. Ty.

Edit:
Can someone pls tell me how to block someone in Nexus Forum?

I can only find a button to this on the main nexus page.
I want to prevent further senseless discussion.
