Newerabs
Hi! I'm wondering if someone could explain to me the difference between ENBseries and ENBoost? I've been playing modded Fallout 4 for a little while on my PC and I just started getting into ENB presets. I have a lot of questions but my main question is should I be using the v.283 ENBoost ONLY or using ENBseries v.317? I notice that for the ENB presets a lot of them say to use v.307 so is that version I have to use? Or should I use v.317? Do these newer versions already come with an ENBoost? Also, should I be disabling AO in my Fallout 4 launch settings? I noticed that with one ENB my textures were really blurry almost as if they weren't loaded all the way. Here's my PC specs:GTX 1070i5 4690k16GB of RAM I know these are n00b questions so any help is appreciated!
iXenite
Use whatever ENB binaries the ENB preset wants you to use. As for the difference between the primary ENB series binaries and ENB Boost - it's quite simple. The ENB binaries are what are used to make the ENB presets. As for the ENB Boost - it is not meant to be used for presets. It essentially increases the available memory the game can use at a time. If you install ENB - then you automatically have ENB Boost, so don't worry about it too much. As for disabling Ambient Occlusion, does the ENB you use say that you should? If not - then don't worry about it. You're GPU is more than powerful enough to use AO. If it does say you should disable it - then do it. Basically, always follow the instructions of the ENB preset.
