jayh
Good evening. Im looking for a mod, or a modder who would be willing to make the following: Im looking for a mod that allows me to control AI of NPCs, in mass, which would allow "Mass commands" of NPCs, such as a frenzy or march. I keep wanting to have some pretty kickass battles or sieges, but whenever I spawn a bunch of say, goblins, they just walk away, they dont even attack me, they just ignore me, only one of em gets aggrivated if i attack it. So if there is one, or someone knows how to make one.. Cheers Jay
Vagrant0
The game in general doesn't handle large numbers of NPCs or creatures very well. This is why an "invasion" consists of 1-3 spawns outside each gate. This is not merely a performance issue, but also an AI issue. Once you go beyond 8 or 9 actors in addition to the player fighting at once, the AI begins acting rather dumb, walking into parts of the landscape, just standing there, ect. The site for the battle of Bruma is without a single rock or tree for that reason. They were also hoping that the player would be more busy fighting than to notice opponents just walking into eachother. As for ordering around NPCs, toaster says share and recruit has some features you might be interested in. Although again, once you go beyond 4 or 5 NPCs following you, you often run into issues. Naminea
Thats why the mod that adds NPC's to the imperial city isn't that great. The spawn and just stand there... and when you get a fight going... Oh boy...

Oh boy...No, that was likely due to either your slow processor, or the mod maker not knowing how to setup packages. You can have about a dozen or so different NPCs wandering, chatting, idling, within a single scene without too many issues. However when combat happens things change, and any sort of intelligence usually goes out the window.
