I had another idea, as always feel free to use/ignore it (Its only an idea :P)

How about putting some of the advertisements (particularly posters) from NV around DC?

OFC not the more local ones mind, like the Repconn, but maybe just the occasional poster in the DC metro advertising the Lucky 38... It makes sense that there'd be some kind of tourism advertisment on the go anyway, but with every country at war the focus would shift to keeping people in the country.

For an added touch, how about including some of them as souveniers that can be seen in abandoned housing? Theres a few posters for shows to be found in the resources, it stands to reason that people would buy a poster or something.

Dinky Dinosaurs toys in extremely small quantities though, they are a VERY local product, so maybe 1-2 in the entire of the Capital. You'd have to leave the rockets though, they're considered quest items... Although, I suppose that can be removed without any penelties.

Tbh though, I think Chucksteel would be the man to talk to on this, He absolutely bring places to life with his cluttering. I know he's previously done a patch to allow both versions of his 'Interiors' series to work with Requiem, so theres always a chance he could be interested.

I'm currently working on the RFCW update for DCInteriors, I've added some Dino toys and, other little hints to pre-war life in Vegas. http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/biggrin.gif The newest version of DCInt will require the update of RFCW, I'm working with the prototype to build it so I'll be able to release on the same day that RFCW is updated. http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/thumbsup.gif

I don't want to hijack this thread so, if you would like to make request for DCInteriors_RFCWEdition you can make them over there.

I've already done a lot of work on the update, fixed lighting issues, original bug that came with DCInteriors, added FNV encounters (That make sense, Giant Rats.) and, much much more. Although, we should talk about it on my thread as to not detract from RFCW's main thread.

Thanks for the quick reply Chuck, that page has actually answered most of my questions straight off. I dont have any more ideas as such to post on the topic right now, but I've bookmarked your page and I'll be sure to pop along if the brain juices flow in that direction again.

So glad to hear you're basically already doing what I was thinking of. I always loved your mods BECAUSE of those little touches, it proves you don't need people to add life to a place.

@Kuroitsune

Thanks man. Thats why I try to keep posting fairly regular,I do get a good idea every so often.

I'm hoping that if I post enough, somebody will like something.

Just dont expect my next idea to be as good :P

I am liking the cross country trek, plenty of locations could be bought to life. Not keen on the `Bad Company´ concept, it feels like a badly written fan story, not in keeping with the spirit of Fallout cannon. Personally I would rather to have a simplistic flowing story, raised in vault 101, complete FO3, travel the wasteland towards Vegas, join the postal service, kicks into the NV story as the courier.

It will be interesting to see what is eventually made, I just hope you keep it simple. :)

I agree with you about the Bad Company thing. I don't really think it's necessary.
