java.lang.outofmemoryerror java heap space

So I'm attempting to run the Perkus Maximus patch, except after about 15 minutes, the error above pops up. I've a lot of mods, so I expect the patch to take a lot of time, so, if possible, I'd like a surewire way to fix the problem instead of testing it over and over again in attempt to solve it, as that'd take a very long time. Any help is appreciated.

The error basically means that you're exceeding the limited amount of memory that Java allows programs like the patcher to use. You've got three options:

 

1) Increase the available memory. You can try these instructions. I haven't tried it, so I don't know if it'll work.

 

2) Reduce the information the patcher needs to process. That means add some of your larger mods, or any that the patcher doesn't need to process, to the patcher's blocklist. What to add depends entirely on your load order. But I will say, if you're using Immersive Jewelry, that's one that needs to go in the blocklist.

 

 

3) You can do what I eventually did: give up and drop Perkus Maximus in favor of another perk overhaul, like Ordinator. I never was able to get it to work. Although, I didn't have those memory increasing instructions at the time.
