Load order for texture mods to get best graphics

Hi all,

I've currently got about 50 mods, mainly high res texture mods installed, and was wondering what order others install them to maximize the best textures from each of the mods that want to overwrite each other.

I run the game on an overclocked i7 with 16gb ram, and 3gb gtx.580's in SLI at 2560x1600 and heaps of ini tweaks. I still get 60 fps in just about everywhere in the game with vsync on, and everything at ultra.

I really want to push my machine to the limits and make the game look as amazing as possible.

I'd love to hear others opinions on the best texture mods

Cheers

The load order wouldn't really matter.

You will obviously get a better performance with lower quality textures.

I've personally found anything above 2k to be too much, and the performance hit not worth the quality.

Anyhow. Try turning anything related to shadows down, that will give you a massive boost and probably see very little quality impact. :)

Also, avoid using ENBseries until you are done tweaking.

I don't mean load order in terms of .esp files, but installing mods in NMM and the order you do them to ensure the best textures overwrite the ones that are not as good when many mods have altered the same texture files. I'm happy with performance, and want to further improve the visuals.

If you want a really good guide in texture installing order I would recommend checking out the STEP guide. I use it as a base for my game and it looks great. Also, instead of using just a realistic lighting mod you should try Superl3 ENB if you are not already using it. Makes the game look incredible.

I noticed that too but decided to just let it pass. Sometimes it is better to not say anything at all if you have no clue.
