jkruse05
You have to set it to no model or make a version of LaserSmallBeamRed.nif with a transparent texture, not positive which one will work.
ceano
Have tested that but the ED-E they EyeBot still has a red laser beam. Edited November 25, 2017 by ceano
zilav
Do you edit the right PROJ record? Did you activate your test plugin? Are there any plugins later in load order which override your changes?

gregguar
I have nothing to add from a technical standpoint, but I love the idea. I am actually toying with ideas for the energy weapons in the sci-fi table top system I am working on. Laser weapons don't have a visible beam or recoil. Oh and while they do make a "pew pew" sound when shot, it was only because the galactic government has laws against completely silent guns. The "pew" sound tested well with focus groups. jkruse05
Did you just set the projectile to not reference a model, or did you make a new .nif that links to a transparent texture? If you just removed the model reference altogether, that may be something that isn't allowed, and it may be defaulting back to a previous setting. ceano
@ jkruse05 Did just try to set the projectile to not reference a model, there is no way to link to a transparant texture in the mesh (LaserSmallBeamRed.nif) that i copied and moved to Another folder to use just for ED-Es laser. ceano
Did manage fix so the beam is invisible now  The problem whas that ED-E did use the vanilla laser weapon ammo that of course was linked to the vanilla projectile  Now i mad so he is using his own ammo that is linked to his own projectile that is set to no reference of a model. Thanks everyone for your input and help  EDIT: If anyone wants to try the mod out with all my Changes to... - where he is located - combat style - perks - and more ...click on Ceanos Mods below and follow the links to Fallout/Fallout 4 Edited November 26, 2017 by ceano
