hi. its been a while since i started modding oblivion. there is a problem a have with hair mods.

i looked through instruction and trouble shootings but there wasnt anyone pointing at my problem.

first : i was going to use a new custom race mod (moonsahdow elves) which i thought was cool. i installed the mod (omod) and it worked but the characters used the hair from the previous race, like when went to moonshadow elves from the nords, the elves took the nords hair. so i downloaded the beta hair mod that the mod producer had uploaded and started installing it.

second (the problem) : i copied the files in the data folder than tried using construction set to add them but there was a problem. when i went to the race section, there wasnt any races there so i could add the hairs or anything.

third (another problem) : i downloaded rens beauty pack hair mod and installed it using omod but the hairs wont show up in character creation.

and these are the problems im facing. do you guys know any way to fix the problem?

and can you please help me use construction set or guide me to a topic which has a tutorial?

i'd be thankful

Hair needs to be "allowed" for a race.

So, just downloading hair resources doesn't do anything without an .esp file to tell it that some race is "allowed" to use your new hair.

If you have the ESP installed, then the order in which they are loaded could be a problem.

Anything that loads later might override the allowed hair styles for a race, like for instance, if a certain mod doesn't know anything about the custom hair styles you loaded, but sets what is allowed for a given race, then that is the one that takes priority unless a mod that does know about your styles loads later.

Try moving your hair mod, if using one, to the end of your load order. If not using an esp, then you need to use one or make one.
