Hello Nexus Community,

 

after a long time not playing Oldrim, i decided to reinstall it again. But i remember even before this break, i struggled with this problem.

 

I'm using Mod Organiser( deselected "let MO manage archives"), this is my loadorder (right panel):

Alright, this is my problem:

The Item "Box Pouch Side Left" needs Slot 52.
The vanilla Imperial Studded Armor ID 13ED8 (and any other Vanilla Armor) using beside Slot 32 also 52.

The Second Imperial Studded (ID 232BE7F4) is added by another mod, but idk exactly which one, if i look (right panel at MO) by priority, it seems to be SmithingPerkOverhaul (def. no?!), by ModIndex it point on aMidian-Book of Silent content.esp (i would say yes! ?!).
I also looked into the .esp's with TESVEdit but nothing:

As far as i thought, CCOR (and/or any additional Mods like WAF/CCF) should overwork the Slots (removing Slot 52 from Armors)? So, assuming the error sits in front of my desk, did i missed something? Or does CCOR doesn't change the Vanilla Slots?
Hope someone can help me figuring out what's wrong.

(As addition, i'd like to have some suggestions on my loadorder, if there're maybe any improvements possible (so far i havn't discovered major problems but i also havn't played much and no hard stress test))

There are three places to look where body slots are assigned:

1. the NIF file

2. the armor addon record

3. the armor record

 

The NIF file can only have one body slot per mesh node, typically 32 for upper body pieces

Both the armor and armor addon records can have additional body slots assigned. But they must have the same slot as the NIF file or it will not appear correctly if at all.

 

Your screen shots showed that you only looked at the armor record, try looking at the armor addon records. Perhaps slot 52 was added there.

It's Schlongs of Skyrim. It makes body armors (normally just slot 32) also cover slot 52 so that the schlong is hidden (even for females). You could use the SOS MCM to change your armor into a "revealing" armor so that it doesn't cover that slot. Then your pouch would show up and the schlong would still be hidden. Alternatively, you could use the CK and NifSkope to change the slot of the pouch item.

1: This sound like finding a straw in piles of Needles ... I assume i have to work with nifscope and probably unpacking some bsa's? or just checking any mod with CK?

2+3: thats why i just looked at the skyrim file (i assume any change is shown there if i load any mod at start of TESVEdit?) but no, no entry for the imperial studded armor at armor addon record found.

Thats the most similar i found for imperial studded (aka imperial medium).

Tried to fix it with the "revealing" at the MCM, no help, equipping the pouch still unequip the armour and vice versa.

Yea some web-research and a thread at SL-Forum says SoS hardcoding something at slot 52, i tested without SoS and ...

So it's SoS ... refering to that thread, it's for hiding the Schlong while wearing armours... dammit. Looking at SoS-Page ... SoS-Light -> "No slot 52 management nor underwear"

So it is defenetly a "infront of my desk"-fail and SoS - Full. Well, need to test around if i can renounce the Full version. If i don't like the Light, now i know how i could fix this problem by changing the slot of the Side Left Pouches.

Thanks to IsharaMeradin, i spend 2 hours with nifscope for looking a few .nifs and atleast learned where to set the slot :laugh:

Thanks to Grospolina pointing on SoS, I probably would never have suspected SoS.

Well, the solution was found faster then i expected *thumbs up*, maybe it helps someone with the same issue. Now i can continue to work on my loadorder and finalize my modlist with those immersive enhancing heavy-buttloaded-script mods :laugh:
