Jeir
Dawnguard/Hearthfire/Dragonborn are, as you said, DLC. They're already installed in the correct location as soon as they're downloaded from Steam. The first rule of modding is quite simple: Read the mod description.99% of the time, the mod author includes a whole plethora of information; from what the mod does, any requirements or compatibility issues, how to acquire items/start quests, advice and FAQs to help you solve issues without having to post questions, and how to install and uninstall. In general, mods go into /Steam/SteamApps/Common/Skyrim/Data. That is where you would place any /meshes/textures/etc. folders and any plugins (.esp/.esm/.esl) or archives (.bsa/.ba2). CroMeZia
Does it mean i can just copy paste these extracted mod files?
Jeir
You can just extract/drag&drop from the archive. No need to extract first.
