kibblesticks
After years of being a Nexus member, I've only just taken a look at the roleplaying forum section. I've never done roleplaying before but it looks like great fun. However, I'm a little wary of just jumping in in case I mess something up or do something wrong. Does anyone have any tips on the best way to join a rping thread, or to start your own? I really like making up stories and I have quite a lot of time on my hands atm so creating a rping thread seems like a nice idea. I'm just not sure of the usual protocol. SubjectProphet
Join a thread first to see if RPing is a good idea for you. The most active (and probably the ONLY active) topic would be the AoS, though you'll probably have to join our alternate reality, because we killed the original topic (oops). If you think you like it, and you get the hang of it, go ahead and create a topic. I might actually join. ;)
AurianaValoria1
I agree with SubjectProphet. Also, if you're familiar with Morrowind, you might be interested in Shadows of the Darkest Soul. We always welcome new members...just run character sheet by SoulofChrysamere via PM (as darkedge is unavailable).
mythicdawnmaster
Indeed, both Auri and Prophet are right, i would say, as the co-founder of AOS and the creator of alternate reality, the best way is just to jump in, it is a little daunting at first, for when i joined the RP forum i was very nervous, but after a short while you find your place, and your character starts to grow and develop, and you will become as much a part of the team as us all.Happy RPing, and i hope to see you there soon.Mythic.
