Zedera
This saved my hide. Tried three other fixes, did the FNIS.ini thing and the Mod Organizer generating files inside the own folder thing, nothing worked. This did. Wonder why Windows hates FNIS. delgathar
Wow, another confirmation that this error may be because of Windows Defender. Disable defender, run again.
nikov327
This was frustrating me for a hot minute. Disabling windows real life protection also worked for me.
Buenholdr1369
OK everyone , been looking around and found out the problem , I bet most of you that are having this issue have Windows 10... Well Windows 10 somehow blocks FNIS as a treat or virus so this is what you have to do before generating FNIS for users ! Disable Real life protection before running FNIS in Windows security and after generating FNIS files enable it again and done... Hope this helps @JCThunder : Perfect solution for me. Yep, Windows 10, GOG Skyrim 1.6.659, MO2, FNIS Thank you, and thanks to all others that tried your solution and posted back here about the results.
