JetsuSeal
I completed Skyrim already but my save got messed up so I have to start over. But the game is simply TOO long, All those dungeons and side quests and running here and there, it's great for a first time play but to play the game again... I simply can't.Is there any command that can speed up quests? Heck, is there a command beats all of the quests in the game? Something like a stage speeder-upper. So I don't need to be hearing those NPCs say the same thing.. -.- Please help, I really don't want to replay the ENTIRE game.
RbtRvltin
How many times did you save over the course of your game? O____O Anyways, if you look on the wiki, there is a quest-id and setstage command for every quest in the game. Use these for all the quests, and you should be good. Also, I found that it was more fun just... riding around on my horse and fending off bandits, or helping fair damsels than to just rush through any specific storyline, but if you just want to have the main quest finished, then use the setstage commands, it should only take you a few minutes. :)

That's why I want all of the quests completed. So that I won't feel obligated to do something important all the time. Just walk around and chill out, kill some newbs, ukno? (I just feel a NEED to complete it for some weird reason or else I won't enjoy the game.)Is "SetObjectiveCompleted <questid> <stage value> <1or0>" the command you were referring too? Edit: Do I need to set each stage value or just the final stage to complete the entire quest? Edited March 16, 2012 by JetsuSeal

Fortunado3
Role play.I did. First time around. o.o? Such a helpful comment...Then what are you talking about? What role 100%s an ES game? You obviously played an ace of all trades and didn't RP. And actually it was a helpful answer since when you RP you don't worry about 100%. You role play and you wont need to worry about 100%. 100% is for sandbox games like GTA, Saints Row, etc. In Skyrim, or any ES, create a niche build in your head (mage, thief, Necromancer, Paladin, whatever) and RP. It wouldn't be in a niche builds interest, or prerogative to complete everything. A berserk-er Orc isn't going to be head of the mages guild, but may join the companions, etc. 100% the game over numerous, unique builds, instead of doing everything with one jack of all trades. SinderionsBones
There are also game saves in the ... saved games category to download, many have big parts of the game complete. Then you can go roleplay assured that there is pretty much nothing for you to do short of random radiant quests that, in many cases, you can't exhaust anyways :D The command is(in the console) Setstage <questID> <stage> It depends on the quest, what stages you should set and in what sequence. I recommend looking them up on http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Main_Page it will tell you. Usually you can just set the final stage (the stage with the green check mark by it on that website) and it will complete with you getting all associated benefits. Do not, however, expect to be able to input everything without spending several hours on it. Someone may have made a batch file(collection of console commands to make it faster) for some of this stuff to, I don't know. Oh ya... and TOO long? lol.... lol....lololololololololol You're hinting there could be such a thing? For a semi-compulsive completionist yeah I guess there could be... TES is not a good series for such a person to begin with lol. I can only imagine so many constant headaches as you think you're good and two people you walk by just give you a new quest without you even asking or talking to them. Happens so much. I mean, I just finished spending hours completing this quest and BAM! Another one pops up. I try my best to ignore it but I just NEED to do it, so they can shut up, some cases I kill them. D: However, I've learned that killing quest givers aren't always smart and can hinder from future enjoyment. Oh well... :D I guess I have to put on my geek/nerd hat and play through Skyrim all over again. D: I'll choose different things to make things at least bearable. Thanks! :D
