jcdenton2012
I just polished off a recent design schematic and am about to begin work on something... different. My problem is that I've never really done any weather modifications for a Creation Kit mod. Lots for the GECK's, but none in the Creation Kit. What I need... is to create a snow storm which runs 24/7 in a custom worldcell separate from all other weather patterns in the game. In theory, it would be as if you entered this cell from the Commonwealth. It would be raining in the Commonwealth, but when you enter this cell... BLAM... snowstorm. No other weather patterns would trigger. No radstorms, fog, rain, etc. Just the snowstorm... around the clock. This... is actually for two modifications that I have planned. If I can get the snow weather to function separate from all other climate data, then the rest of my schematics should be easy to create. Does anyone have knowledge which could help with this? muckfinger
I think from what I understand, you would go to climate in the object window and can make a custom weather pattern with the probability of each weather event, so you would just give it 100% chance. I have only done it for my own custom lands. I have no idea if you can have different climates in the same world space. Just be sure to select your custom climate in your custom worldspace options (world menu in toolbar). Hope that helps.
